Driving to the Eastern Region
Liam and Owen each wrote some journal notes during our driving holiday from Riyadh.
7 Dec - Liam
On SundayI Went on a Log Twive to Wew the ioyol is for abawt 2 days it was thun.
"I went on a long drive to where the oil is for about 2 days. It was fun."
[It was very noticeable when reached Saudi Aramco country - oil flares, and numerous pipelines. We also enjoyed seeing herds of camels being grazed in many of the desert areas.]

On the first day of my familys long car trip we drove to Damam [Dammam]. We took about 4 hours to get there. Then we spent a while trying to find our hotel, called Ramada. It was on Cornish Rd, an easy road to find with a catch, any road touching the gulf was called Cornish. After a few hours, and about 3 calls we arived at Ramada.

I don't remember much untill a few days after when we crossed the border to barain [Bahrain], and neather can mum or Liam, and dads at work so I'll continue from there.
[We spent a couple of days in the Dammam/Khobar/Dhahran cities, particularly exploring parts of the Corniche (Gulf waterfront) in Dammam and Khobar.]
