Growing up
It's now been three days with only one child in the house ... Owen is staying at the farm with Nan and Grandpa for the week. Owen at 6 y.o. can cope with the separation pretty well, but was trying hard not to cry when we left for home. He's a great lad.
While at the farm I printed out a couple of panorama photos on some A4 photo paper, and they've worked beautifully. The photos had been made using Canon Photostitch software to join pairs of overlapping snaps. Rather poignantly they were photos of Wilson's Promontory from our visit last September - and unfortunately the Prom won't be looking so good for quite a while. It's always tragic when there's a bad bushfire, but particularly the case when the fire was intentionally lit by the Dept of Sustainability & Environment and got out of control.
Of course DSE got the Dept of Smoke & Embers tag during the Alpine bushfire last year ...
